Pilot

We are seeking a skilled Pilot to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating Pilot Truck and ensuring the safety on routes for oversized/ heavy-haul drivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure pilot truck is road worthy
  • Operate Pilot truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Communicate with traffic control and Driver
  • Ensure compliance with OTR regulations and company policies
  • High pole and lead/ chase of loads
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work irregular and long hours

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in NY certification
  • Familiarity with forklift operations
  • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics environments
  • Ability to lift heavy objects/ blocks, chaining, strapping

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

310T / 310J Licensed Technician or eager Apprentice

We are looking for a technician that will diagnose, overhaul, adjust, service and repair many different makes & models of trucks, trailers and yard equipment. Diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components on power units, hydraulic system diagnosis & repair or in the welding and fabrication. Attention to detail, professionalism and safety being paramount.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair all components of fleet trucks and trailers to maintain compliance with NSC
11B standards
  • Perform regular routine maintenance on all fleet equipment
  • Regular consistent documentation on work orders and inspection check lists, identify warrantable repairs
  • Maintain a safe work area and environment 
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
 
Specific Role Requirements
 
  • Diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components on power units, hydraulic system diagnosis & repair or in the welding and fabrication in the use of tools in the trade
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment on occasion when necessary
  • Regular, predicable and punctual attendance is essential
  • Must provide personal basic tools 
  • Added consideration given to candidates with specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/ troubleshooting of major components on power units, hydraulic system diagnosis & repair or in the welding and fabrication fields

Job Title: Administrative Assistant & Digital Coordinator (Full-Time)

Location: DFS Projects, 1331 Commerce Way, Woodstock, ON, Canada (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $40,000 – $50,000 per year

From Woodstock, Ontario to destinations across Canada, the USA, and Mexico, DFS Projects delivers specialized transportation solutions (Heavy Haul & Oversize Loads) for our clients’ most complex shipments. We are currently looking for a creative and organized individual who is eager for the opportunity to help us level up our online presence and assist with administrative tasks in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and overseeing a schedule for regular social media content to be posted to the company’s Instagram and Facebook accounts
  • Capturing images and videos to be used in social media posts
  • Editing and posting social media content
  • Checking social media notifications and inboxes; responding to messages and comments appropriately as needed
  • Basic lead generation (e-newsletters/eblasts)
  • Promptly responding to emails from potential leads
  • Assisting DFS Projects’ President with scheduling meetings, booking flights, etc.
  • Filing, photocopying, and other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail (organizational skills)
  • Thorough and practical knowledge of Meta social media platforms
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in a marketing or media related field is an asset but not mandatory
  • Full-time availability (Mon-Fri) and able to work on-site minimum 3 days per week
